However controversial, AI is increasingly used in the creative industry.
As much as I prefer shooting real life, and the craft that goes into it; sometimes AI can be another strong tool to make the best content.
Below are a few examples of how I use AI tools and Generative models to edit more efficiently and try new ways of creating video.

such as mask tracking and generative replace can remove unwanted distractions and give more control to colour correction.
Having years of experience fine tuning these tools they save time and, with the right settings, can produce better results.
Adobe's collection of audio editing tools can clean up dialogue quicker and cleaner than traditional methods.
As an Editor, I keep up to date with the latest tools to use them alongside traditional editing techniques for the best results.
combined with the right concepts and human-led scripts, can create awesome results for videos that would be time-consuming and tricky to do with traditional methods.
I've used various models such as Veo 3, Kling, Seedance, ElevenLabs and Runway ML Workflows to turn well-planned ideas into fun content that tests what's possible with the latest tools in video production.

what3words' Patio Peak campaign aimed to grab the attention of customers ordering outdoor products during May Bank holiday, using humour showing the consequence of a wrong address.
I started with a stock image of a garden gnome, then used Nano Banana and Seedance inside of Runway's workflow to create the base footage.
This was followed by ElevenLabs for SFX and assembled in Adobe Premiere Pro with what3words brand style GFX.
The final result comes from many iterations using techniques like first-frame/last-frame; to create the right movements, materials and timings to bring the original idea to life.
